
The Port of Inverness welcomed HMS Blyth as a visitor over the weekend. The ship is part of the First Mine Countermeasures Squadron which is affiliated to Inverness. The visit included a reception for guests.
Port Chief Executive Sinclair Browne said, “It is a delight to welcome HMS Blyth to Inverness and we are sure that the visit was a success.” HMS Blyth is 53m in length and has a displacement of 409 tonnes. The picture shows HMS Blyth passing under the Kessock Bridge on her departure on Sunday.
