Weighbridge
Bulk weighing at the Port is carried out over a single, flush decked concrete weighbridge capable of weighing up to 50 tonnes. The weighbridge is fully legally compliant for trading and is regularly maintained and calibrated by an approved contractor.

Quays
The Port has four main quays, comfortably capable of accommodating at least six vessels at any one time. Fresh water is available at each berth for all vessels.
150m long and dredged to 5.0m below chart datum. A dedicated heavy lift pad handles lifts of up to 200 tonnes. Heavier lifts can be arranged if required.
340m long and dredged to 5.5m below chart datum.
100m long and dredged to 3.0m below chart datum.
(Tanker Berth) 150m long and dredged to 5.4m below chart datum.
Storage
The Port offers both covered and open storage.
Three modern transit sheds, a canopied area and two open gable bulk storage facilities. All storage facilities are within easy access of the quays.
Two main areas of generous laydown areas. North Longman Quay offers 15,000 sq metres and Longman Quay has 16,000 sq metres. Both areas are paved. Additional open storage areas may be available upon request.
Bunkering
Bunkering is available via road tanker. Please contact us in advance for authorisation if you intend to bunker.
Bunkering may only be carried out in daylight hours. The Master is responsible for its operation must ensure that operational checklists for both the vessel and the road tanker operative are fully completed and agreed before transfers begin.

Office Suites for Rent
We currently have 2 ground floor office suites available to let in our newly refurbished Harbour Office building.
Available with flexible terms for immediate occupation individually or in combination. On site parking and convenient for the city centre, rail and bus stations, Longman Industrial Estate and the A9 / A96.
