DREDGING OPERATIONS     (Updated)

Maintenance dredging operations will now be carried out at the Port of Inverness, between the 16th and 24th August, 2022.

Dredging will occur at various points within the Port, adjacent to Marina entrance and also in the Channel approaches.

Disposal will occur at the mid-point of the Kessock Roads, just west of the old ferry piers.

These operations will be carried out by the dredger ADMIRAL DAY and associated support craft. The dredger has a red hull and white accommodation. She is 41m in length.

The dredger will make frequent daylight trips between the port and the Kessock Roads. Please keep well clear of this vessel as she will make unexpected changes in course/speed, whilst conducting operations.

A listening watch will be kept on VHF Ch12.

Please contact Inverness Harbour Office during office hours, if you require any further information.
