Last weekend was busy at the Port of Inverness with the arrival of the Aramis from Castellon, Spain with the first shipment of machinery for the Glen Kyllachy Wind Farm, just south of Inverness. The ship brought in blades for discharge before sailing for Eemshaven in Holland. A further 8 shipments are expected over the next two months with the remainder of the equipment. In total 20 turbines will be stored at the Port until being moved to site in early Spring. In addition, the Scot Venture and Scot Trader were also in port. Both sailed on Tuesday for Amsterdam and Hull respectively.
